WISDOM
(1 Kings 4:29-30,34) “Now God gave Solomon wisdom and very great discernment and breadth of mind, like the sand that is on the seashore.”
And Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the sons of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.
And men came from all peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth who had heard of his wisdom.”
(1 Kings 10:23-24) “So King Solomon became greater than all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom.
And all the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.”
(2 Chronicles 1:10-12) "Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can rule this great people of Thine?
And God said to Solomon, ‘Because you had this in mind, and did not ask for riches, wealth, or honor, or the life of those who hate you, nor have you even asked for long life, but you have asked for yourself wisdom and knowledge, that you may rule My people, over whom I have made you king,
wisdom and knowledge have been granted to you. And I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings who were before you has possessed, nor those who will come after you.’"
(Psalm 37:30) “The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, And his tongue speaks justice.”
(Psalm 49:3) “My mouth will speak wisdom; And the meditation of my heart will be understanding.”
(Psalm 51:6) “Behold, Thou dost desire truth in the innermost being, And in the hidden part Thou wilt make me know wisdom.”
